Graduating.

I realized after I did my last update that I missed some children.
Children who had previously been listed in the 3-5 year old age groups.
Children who are still waiting, and so have "graduated" to the older age groups.
Many children who I haven't noticed before, as I mainly focus on the older children.
Children I wish had been chosen, instead of growing up in an orphanage.
Children I wish I had never seen - other than when seeing the celebrations among Reece's Rainbow advocates when they move to the "My Family Found Me" page.
Every time a child is chosen, the whole Reece's rainbow family celebrates.
Recently - many older children HAVE been chosen - so many families have stepped forward, seen a child, and realized that child was theirs.
I celebrate with them - with every single child that is found !!

I'm also torn.
Of course, I want to see the older children chosen.
Yet - at the same time - I also want to see the younger children chosen.
The babies, the toddlers, the preschoolers.
I want the babies out of the orphanages.
I want them home - before the damage is done.
Before their bodies give up.
Before the neglect is evident.
Before their minds grow numb to their surroundings.
Please - don't forget the babies.
Everyone is different - some want to adopt babies, some want toddlers, some want older children - it is so dependent on each and every family dynamic.
Yes - I focus on the older children - that's MY thing.
Please - though - if you can - look at ALL of the children.
Share each and every child you feel you can.
Donate to whichever child you are drawn to.
Just don't ignore them.
Don't feel so overwhelmed that you do nothing.
Do something.
